Samantha’s ’96’ formally declared

We had presented to you the news early that Samantha would play Trisha’s notable Jaanu character in the Telugu redo of the clique great ’96’. It has now been formally affirmed by makers Shri Venkateshwara Creations.

Sharwanand plays Ram in the ’96’ redo supplanting Vijay Sethupathi in the first and Premkumar himself is helming the film. As we detailed the school partitions in the film including Aditya Bhaskar and Gowri Kishan has been expelled and rather Sam and Sharwanand will play their more youthful forms as school kids. Shooting begins in March and is relied upon to discharge amid Diwali this year.
