Tollywood is no longer male-dominated: Rakul
Addressing a news office, Rakul Preet Singh has said that she doesn’t see the Telugu film industry as a male-ruled substance any longer.
“The world itself is male-overwhelmed. I don’t believe that Tollywood is saint driven any longer. Times are evolving. Take ‘Baahubali’, for instance. It was about the quality of Anushka’s character,” she says.
The ‘Nannaku Prematho’, ‘Dhruva’ and ‘SPYder’ on-screen character praises any semblance of Nayanthara, Trisha, Kangana Ranaut, Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt for the sort of films they are picking. Nayan, for instance, has acted in a few ladies driven excursions.
In the interim, she has begun shooting for Nagarjuna’s ‘Manmadhudu-2’. It is coordinated by Rahul Ravindran.
