Siva who is a popular director of Siruthai is looking forward to creating a movie Kanguva which has created an intense audience followership in the industry. The movie features Suriya as a tribal king and it is the Tamil debut for the Bollywood actors Bobby Deol and Disha Patani.
The Kanguva teaser that was just released has sent the fans and film lovers everywhere into a frenzy, with the producer K E Gnanavel Raja having to live up to the extremely high hopes set for him. While the film is still in development, the producer has already made a confident statement that the project will be a milestone in the history of Indian cinema and the teaser does seem to justify his views, as grand special sequences are shown.
The army leaders, Suriya and Bobby Deol, represent theirdifferent tribes through their threatening appearance and palpable intensity. The film will showcase the most realistic and terrible episodes of bloody battles, which is also one of the most successful tendencies in modern cinematography. There are strong indications that Siva, who is known for his reality-based storytelling, might be taking a different direction, a pattern or the plot that marks a revolution in his life and work.
The movie which also stars Disha Patani will also be replicated in more than 20 languages, said the producer, who was he is confident that it will touch the heart of people not only in India but around the world. Although on paper it seems a risky bet, the Kanguva team is entering unchtered waters, plumbing depths that have never been touched in other Tamil films.
Kanguva, for Suriya, is a very important milestone in his actor’s life, being his first solo movie on the big screen after his last solo directing in theatrical releases, Edharkum Thunindhavan back in 2022. The film will be Suriya’s ‘stress’ test after the last two years in which he has had no successors.
At the same time Suriya has declared that his forthcoming venture, titled Puranaanuru, directed by Sudha Kongara, is put on hold. Coming to a conclusion, it is quite difficult to say whether the actor would choose to go on with some other project in the meantime or not.
